March against brutality in Montreal - Manifestation contre la brutalité policière à Montréal
Cela faisait un petit moment que j’entendais parler de cette manifestation, qui tous les ans faisait de nombreux arrêtés.
Comme il s’agit maintenant d’une manifestation illégale car les organisateurs refusent de donner leur itinéraire, les policiers ne laissent absolument pas cette manifestation avoir lieu.
Début de la manifestation : 15 heures – Fin de la manifestation : 15 heures 30.
En effet, après s’être regroupés vers le métro Jean Talon, la plupart des manifestants ont tout de suite étaient pris en souricière et emmenés dans une rue encerclés de policiers à cheval, en voiture, en camion, en bus de ville… Oui tous les moyens étaient la pour cette GROSSE manifestation, même un HELICOPTERE.
Sérieusement, il faut avouer que les moyens pour cet évènement étaient vraiment gros, j’ai eu l’impression qu’il y avait 3 fois plus de policiers que de manifestants, plus une centaine de photographes.. Cela m’a paru quand même vraiment étrange.
Le plus drole c’est que toutes les fois ou j’ai essayé de demander aux policiers pourquoi ils étaient si nombreux et pourquoi les moyens étaient autant développés personne ne voulait me répondre! Bref je vous laisse découvrir les quelques photos que j’ai eu le temps de prendre..
I had heard so many things about this march, where, every year many people were arrested .
As it is now an illegal demonstration because organizers refuse to give their route , the police is absolutely not letting this event taking place.
Beginning of the event : 3pm – End of the event : 3.30pm.
Indeed, after regrouping to the Jean Talon metro , most protesters were immediately taken into trap and taken to a small street, where policeofficer and horses were waiting for them, with cars, trucks , bus city … yes EVERYTHING was here for this BIG event, even a hELICOPTER .
No seriously, I find it really big for the size of the event , I felt like there were 3 times more policemen than demonstrators , plus one hundred photographers .. It was really strange for me to see so many policemen when nothing had really happened yet. .
The most funny is that all the times I tried to ask the police why they were so many and why resources were developed like that, nobody wanted to answer me! Anyway I let you see some pictures I had time to take ..
